ESTIMATOR
Note : the employee will be called upon to carry out other related tasks in their field of expertise in order to meet the occasional needs of the company for all positions posted.
ESTIMATOR
A glazing estimator assesses project costs by accurately estimating the required materials, labor, and equipment.
- Analysis of plans and specifications, evaluation and estimation of material, labor, equipment, and tool costs. Monitoring ongoing projects, economic and technological watch.
- Preparation of bids, risk analysis, negotiation with suppliers and subcontractors, internal collaboration, market prospecting, reports, and documentation.
Skills
In order to thrive in this position, you must have a few skills:
- Proficiency in estimation software (Opera, AutoCAD, Excel).
- Analytical and precision skills, proficiency in negotiation, risk assessment, and effective communication.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction field, and/or equivalent.
- Excellent calculation skills
- In-depth knowledge of glazing products and curtain walls.
